Chimney sweep in Reading

A sweep or an inspection for your Reading home?

Fully insured. HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep, number 12556. Sweeping certificates provided.

For a chimney due its regular maintenance, our standard power sweep is £70, including a HETAS sweeping certificate. If the flue condition is uncertain, describe the concern before booking so we can discuss whether a CCTV inspection would be useful.

A sweep with CCTV is £120. It is different from a stove service and sweep, priced at £100: one looks inside the accessible flue, while the other checks accessible stove components. Tell us which work you need rather than booking both by mistake.

Tell us where in Reading you need a visit

Reading covers a wide area. Send your full postcode and any parking or access restrictions so we can confirm the journey and appointment from Basingstoke. We do not operate a Reading branch.

For debris falling into an unused fireplace or a suspected bird nest, mention that in the enquiry. Blockage assessment and removal is separate from a routine sweep.

Is CCTV inspection the same as a stove service?

No. A CCTV inspection gives a camera view of the accessible flue; a basic stove service checks accessible appliance components. A sweep with CCTV is £120, while a sweep with a basic stove service is £100. Tell us which work you need, or describe the issue so we can discuss it.

Arrange your visit
