Chimney sweeping and stove servicing cover different parts of your system. A sweep removes deposits from the accessible flue; a stove service looks at accessible appliance components, including door seals, glass, firebricks and general condition.

If a door seal looks worn, a firebrick is damaged or the stove needs attention, describe it when you book. Sending a photograph and the stove make and model helps us understand the job before the visit.

What does a basic stove service include?

• Inspection of accessible door seals and glass.
• A check of accessible firebricks and the stove’s general condition.
• An explanation of concerns found during the service.
• A discussion of any further work or replacement parts required.

The service is limited by access and the appliance design. Parts, repairs and installation changes are quoted separately and agreed with you before going ahead.

Our £70 standard stove sweep already includes a complimentary clean of the stove and glass. That courtesy clean does not replace a full stove service. Compare the published prices.
