JONES CHIMNEY & STOVES
Book the right service for your fireplace
Jones Chimney & Stoves is based in Basingstoke, providing power sweeping for wood-burning stoves, multifuel stoves and open fireplaces. Book a standard sweep for £70, including a HETAS sweeping certificate. We also help with stove servicing, chimney inspections and new stove installations.
If you need routine maintenance, our standard sweep is the starting point. If you would also like accessible stove components checked, a combined stove service and sweep is £100. For the standard sweep, you do not need to assess the state of your stove beforehand.
For a chimney whose condition is unknown, a sweep with CCTV inspection is £120. This gives you a camera inspection as well as the sweep. Let us know about smoke entering the room, a suspected blockage or anything unusual before booking.
What happens at your Basingstoke appointment?
We prepare the fireplace area, carry out the sweep and clear the debris. Your standard sweep includes a HETAS sweeping certificate, and we explain any concerns we identify. If more work is needed, we discuss it with you before going ahead.
Have more than one chimney? An additional chimney at the same property is £50 when swept during the same visit. Mention both appliances when arranging your appointment.
Complimentary with a stove sweep: we clean the stove and glass during the visit, at no extra charge. A full stove service, including checks of accessible seals and firebricks, is a separate option.
Before you book
Can you install a new stove as well?
Yes. We offer wood-burning and multifuel stove installations, flue liners and fireplace improvements. Installation work is quoted for your property; send photos of the existing fireplace to start the discussion.
How do I arrange an appointment?
Call 07542 105954, send a WhatsApp message or email us. Include your postcode, appliance type, any concerns and your preferred days. We agree appointments with you directly; clicking an enquiry link does not reserve a time.
