A sweeping appointment planned around your appliance
HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep 12556. Fully insured. Sweeping certificates provided.
Book a chimney-sweeping visit in Crowthorne from our Basingstoke base. The standard £70 rotary power sweep includes a HETAS sweeping certificate and covers a domestic chimney serving a wood burner, multifuel stove or open fire.
Tell us the appliance type and send a photograph of the hearth and visible flue connection. If the opening is particularly large or access is restricted, mention this before booking so the work can be planned around the fireplace you have.
Looking after the stove as well as the chimney
A complimentary stove and glass clean is included when we sweep a stove. For checks of accessible door seals, glass and firebricks, ask for the £100 basic stove service and sweep. Let us know the make and model if available, especially if you already know a component needs attention. Parts are priced separately.
If the concern is inside the chimney, a CCTV inspection gives a view of the accessible flue. It is £50 separately or £120 with a standard sweep. Tell us about a suspected blockage in advance; removal work is assessed and agreed separately.
Leave the fire or stove fully cold and clear space around the hearth. We prepare the fireplace area, sweep the accessible flue, clear debris from the work and explain concerns found during the visit.
