Keep chimney sweeping and appliance checks clear
Fully insured. HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep, number 12556. Sweeping certificates provided.
Jones Chimney & Stoves provides chimney-sweeping appointments for Kintbury from our Basingstoke base. We sweep wood-burning stoves, multifuel stoves and open-fire chimneys. A standard rotary power sweep is £70, including a sweeping certificate.
Tell us whether your fireplace is in regular use or has been unused for some time. If you also want the accessible parts of a stove checked, mention that when enquiring so the visit allows for the service you need.
Arranging the right work for a village property
Kintbury is one of West Berkshire’s designated conservation areas. The fireplace arrangement varies from house to house, so include photographs rather than assuming every older property has the same chimney or access. We confirm a visit against your full postcode and appliance details.
The standard sweep removes deposits from the accessible flue. A stove sweep includes a complimentary stove and glass clean. A basic stove service checks accessible components such as seals, glass and firebricks; the combined service and sweep is £100, with replacement parts separate.
If you want a camera view inside the accessible flue, a CCTV inspection is £50, or £120 with a sweep. Describe the reason for the inspection when you contact us so we can discuss it before arrival.
Before you book
Can you sweep two chimneys during one visit?
Two standard domestic chimney sweeps at the same property in one visit cost £120. Tell us which appliance each flue serves and whether either fireplace has unusual access so we can confirm the appointment properly.
Call 07542 105954, email Jones Chimney & Stoves or use WhatsApp. Include your postcode, the number and type of appliances and your preferred days. We agree the appointment and work with you directly.
For a standard accessible domestic chimney, the sweep is £70. We discuss any additional work first. Please leave the appliance fully cold and clear space around the fireplace before we arrive.
