An older fireplace or a stove that needs attention?
Elstead’s conservation area includes the compact historic village core. This does not establish the condition or use of an individual chimney, so tell us about the fireplace you have and any previous maintenance. Photographs help us discuss access and the work you want.
For routine maintenance, see our chimney sweeping service. If your question concerns accessible stove components, the basic stove service and sweep is £100. A complimentary stove and glass clean is included with a stove sweep; replacement parts are separate.
If you want a view of the accessible flue, a CCTV inspection is £50, or £120 with a standard sweep. Describe an unfamiliar fireplace, falling debris or any other concern before the visit so we can discuss the appropriate work and access.
