Sweeping an established fireplace or looking after a stove
Fully insured. HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep, number 12556. Sweeping certificates provided.
Book a chimney-sweeping visit in Crondall with Basingstoke-based Jones Chimney & Stoves. Our £70 standard rotary power sweep covers a domestic chimney serving an open fire, wood burner or multifuel stove, with a sweeping certificate included.
For a house with separate fireplaces, tell us how many flues need sweeping. An additional standard chimney at the same property is £50 when completed during that visit, making two standard sweeps £120.
Photographs help us prepare for your Crondall visit
Crondall’s historic core is covered by a conservation area. A traditional-looking fireplace can have a different arrangement behind it, so send a photograph of the hearth, appliance and visible connection. Mention any restricted opening or access issue before the appointment.
If the fireplace has been out of use or you have recently moved in, share any available sweeping records. We can discuss a routine sweep or a CCTV inspection of the accessible flue without assuming that every chimney needs the same work.
A stove sweep includes a complimentary stove and glass clean. For checks of accessible door seals, glass and firebricks, ask about the £100 basic stove service and sweep. Replacement components and additional repairs are discussed separately so you know what is being agreed.
